Cherry Creek Penthouse — Concealed Technology in a City Residence
In a home where every surface is a finish, the technology had to be present and invisible at the same time.

The challenge
Concrete structure, limited chase paths, and an interior designer with a very short list of acceptable ceiling penetrations. Nothing could be surface-mounted and nothing could be moved after the finishes went in.
Our approach
Every speaker, keypad, and sensor was located on the reflected ceiling plan and signed off by the design team before rough-in.
Mirrored and art-concealed displays let the primary suite and living room read as rooms first and media spaces second.
Invisible plaster-over speakers were used where the ceiling had to stay unbroken; standard in-ceiling models were reserved for back-of-house.
The result
Guests do not see technology. They see a room that responds — shades lowering as the sun swings west, music following them from kitchen to terrace.

Displays that vanish
A mirrored display over the fireplace and an art-concealed television in the primary suite mean the screens are only present when they're in use. Both are wired back to a central rack so there is no visible equipment anywhere in the living spaces.
Drapery and shading on schedule
Motorized drapery and shades run on astronomic timing tuned to the building's exposure — privacy at dusk, glare control in the afternoon, and a wake scene that opens the bedroom to the skyline.
