Your Colorado privacy rights
Under the Colorado Privacy Act, Colorado residents have the right to access their personal data, correct inaccuracies, delete it, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling.
Precision Media AV does not sell personal data, does not use it for targeted advertising, and does not engage in profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We collect only what we need to answer your inquiry and support your system — data minimization is a design rule for this site, not an afterthought.
To exercise a right, email privacy@pmav.co with the request and enough detail to locate your record. We respond within 45 days and will tell you if we need the one-time extension the statute allows. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; we will respond to the appeal within 45 days and explain how to contact the Colorado Attorney General.
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws, and visitors from the EEA or UK, may use the same address; we extend these rights to everyone rather than tracking residency.
Sensitive data and children
We do not request sensitive data as defined by the Colorado Privacy Act — no racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health diagnoses, sexual orientation, citizenship status, genetic or biometric data. Please do not include such information in a form or chat message.
This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. Photos or video you upload for a service request should not include identifiable images of children.
How we protect information
Form submissions and chat transcripts are stored in an access-controlled database. Uploaded photos and videos go to a private storage bucket that is not publicly browsable, and are served only through an authenticated request. Data moves over encrypted connections. Access is limited to Precision Media staff who need it to do their job.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by Colorado law.
Changes to this policy
When the website's forms, chat, or third-party technologies change, this notice is updated in the same release. The date at the top reflects the last substantive change.
