Cherry Hills Estate — Whole-Home Technology Integration
Every subsystem in this Cherry Hills estate now answers to one interface: lighting scenes, shades, music, video, climate, cameras, and gates.

Project type
Existing home retrofit, phased
Systems
8 disciplines, one platform
Duration
Multi-phase over one build season
The challenge
The home had accumulated a decade of unrelated systems — three remotes per room, a lighting keypad language nobody could read, and an alarm and camera platform that lived on its own app. The owners wanted the technology to disappear without gutting finished spaces.
Our approach
We surveyed every existing run, keypad, and speaker location, then mapped what could be reused and what had to be re-pulled behind the walls that were already opening for other trade work.
A single control platform replaced four apps. Lighting keypads were re-engraved in plain language — Entertain, Dine, Away, Goodnight — instead of load names.
The network was rebuilt first: enterprise-grade switching, segmented VLANs for AV, cameras, and family devices, and wireless access points placed from a heat-map rather than a guess.
The result
One app and a handful of keypads now run the estate. The owners leave with a single button and arrive to lights, music, and shades already set for the time of day.

Home technology in Cherry Hills Village
One platform, every room
Lighting, shades, audio, video, climate, cameras, and gate access were consolidated onto a single control platform with a consistent interface on wall keypads, touchscreens, and phones. Scenes were designed with the interior designer so the light levels flatter the finishes rather than fight them.

Infrastructure that stays serviceable
All head-end equipment was consolidated into a ventilated rack with labeled, dressed cabling and remote monitoring. When something needs attention, we usually see it before the family does — and most fixes happen without a truck roll.
