Every other system in the house now depends on the network. We build homes on Ubiquiti UniFi because it gives us enterprise-class routing, switching, and Wi-Fi with visibility into every client device.
Large Colorado homes with stone, steel, and radiant barriers are hostile to Wi-Fi. We survey, place access points on hard-wired drops, and tune channels and power rather than hoping one router covers the footprint.

Segmented, not flat
Cameras, control processors, streaming devices, and guests each get their own VLAN with rules between them. A compromised smart appliance should never be able to see the camera recorder or the family's laptops.
Monitored before you notice
Every network we deploy reports to our monitoring platform. Most of the time we see an access point drop, a WAN flap, or a failing switch port and resolve it before anyone in the house picks up a phone.

Is UniFi good enough for a large luxury home?
Yes, when it is designed properly — hard-wired access points, adequate switching, correct VLANs, and a suitable gateway. For very large estates or exceptional density we also deploy Access Networks and Ruckus.
How many access points does a Denver home need?
It depends on construction and layout more than square footage; stone, plaster with lath, and radiant barriers all attenuate signal heavily. Typical estates land at one access point per 1,200 to 1,800 square feet, confirmed by survey.
